First time here . I live down the street and drive by often, I thought it was time to try. Walking in I notice how clean and well decorated it was. I was greeted by two young ladies behind the counter. They helped me with recommendations, let me tell you , the meat pies are 10/10 . It has a buttery flakey homemade crust filled with well seasoned beef. I also had the Ewa. That was delicious! I told the ladies I enjoy spicy food and that’s what they recommended. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.
Very good food. Ordered jollof with fufu, egusi and tilapia with red sauce. The guy who gave us service seemed kind and eager to help. Didn’t see customers since it wasn’t a busy day but a family walked out before we came in and it was all smiles. 100% recommend it.
The flavors are amazing. The owner recommended the Efo Riro and it was great, perfect level of spice and a good portion for lunch. I’ll definitely be back for lunch again.
This food is amazing and sooo filled with flavor omg! Usually most restaurants I have been to after you get their food the first time it tastes amazing but then they fall off after the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time despite giving them chance after chance. This restaurant though!! This is my third time having their food and it still tastes so full of flavorful spices..I’m not saying they are spicy so don’t run and get scared lol. I had the vegetarian efo riro, the pounded yams with the efo riro and the jollof rice which is the best I ever had. I feel like I have finally found a restaurant that is consistent with their tasty food!
Let me just start off from our first interaction from the phone call. Aji was very helpful and assisted me to come in instead of just ordering and pick up to try the foods. I was undecided about the egusi and vegetable soup. I was able to taste each dish there was when I got there. Aji was very helpful , the food was presented nice and neatly. Aji had exceptional customer service skills. I decided to purchase the designer rice, red stew and vegetable stew along with plantain. I will definitely be back really soon. Thank you
I don't have a whole lot of experience with Nigerian restaurants. I've been to a few, and I usually get Joloff rice and chicken. And it's always ok, but I've never been really excited about food I got from a Nigerian restaurant, until now. I got the "designer stew" with chicken. The host was very nice and got worried when he heard I had never gotten it before because it's very spicy. So he offered to let me try it first before ordering. It was awesome! Yes it was spicy. It was 3 drumsticks and a hard-boiled egg with some really unique and delicious sauce. I ordered another one to bring home so my wife and kids could try it. It was a big hit. I can't wait to go back and try some more food here.
Service was fantastic!! First time trying Nigerian food and I will definitely be going back! We got the red stew and okra, with beef and pounded yam- beef was tender and well cooked and the stew was flavorful
Great Nigerian food! Great taste! Will definitely try again! Everything tastes so fresh. Family owned, and the people are nice. The price is reasonable for the quality, authenticity, and quantity of the food. Recommend!!!
